Review: Benefit Watt’s Up Highlighter

So, I recently heard about  the “strobing” highlighting technique.  It is a nice change from all of the contouring tutorials and demos out from the clown contour to change your entire face shape.   It is not new, just like contouring.  Both techniques have been in practice for many years.  Most famously, Marilyn Monroe used strategically placed countouring and highlighting to change the shape of her features.  But I digress… This is about my review of the Benefit Watt’s Up Highlighter.  I “strobed” the highlighter down the bridge of my nose, inner corner of my eyes, between my brow ridges, Cupid’s bow, and the top of my cheekbones.  I dusted a powder highlighter to set before powdering the rest of my face with a translucent powder. And viola! I was left with a lit from within, bright, and awakened look.  I liked the texture of the highlighter, it did not leave my skin feeling dry as some cream to powder formulas can.  Overall, very pleased!
